Befriending Your Inner Critic
Turning self-criticism into self-leadership
We all carry an internal voice that judges, doubts, and demands perfection. Often forged as a survival mechanism, this “Inner Critic” can become a barrier to growth, relationships, and emotional freedom.
Befriending Your Inner Critic is a one-hour module designed to help you transform your relationship with self-criticism. Rather than fighting or suppressing this internal voice, you'll learn to understand its origins, de-escalate its intensity, and harness its underlying energy for constructive self-leadership.

What we'll actually do
Most approaches to the inner critic try to argue with it or shout it down. Neither works for long, because the voice was built to protect you. It does not stand down on command.
This hour takes the opposite approach. You'll get to know the thing rather than fight it, and find out what it is actually trying to do for you.
The three moves
- Understand its origins. Where the voice came from, and what it was originally for.
- De-escalate its intensity. How to take the volume down without going to war with it.
- Harness its energy. Turning the drive underneath the criticism toward constructive self-leadership.
You don't need any prior experience, and you don't need to have done group work before. It's one hour, once. Come and see.
